Master "Dong" Cuesta  - December 11th 2003 - Master "Dong " Cuesta made another visit to  IMAF for a 2 hour workshop. It is always a real treat to have Master Dong at IMAF and this time was no exception. We covered Espad y Daga drills and locks as well as sparring. Master Dong ended the seminar by sparring all members. Look for the next visit some time early next year.

Royler Gracie  - August 12th 2003 - Royler Gracie and RG  Black Belt Dave Adiv visited IMAF for a 2 hour workshop. As expected both were exceptional teachers and it was a real treat to have them at IMAF.

Two day seminar(10 hours)with Erik Paulson, undefeated shoot fighting champion, held on Saturday August 11th and Sunday August 12th. Material covered included  take downs, striking from the ground, submission locks etc. If you want to improve your "stand up and ground game" don't miss this opportunity to train with one of the best around! 

Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do East Coast Conference - 1999

We were proud to be authorized by the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Nucleus to host their First regional Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Conference. The conference which was held October 22nd through the 24th 1999 in New York featured Nucleus members Sifu Richard Bustillo, Sifu Ted Wong and Sifu Chris Kent.

The conference, which was the first of its kind and set the standard for future conferences in terms of content and format, was co-sponsored by the International Martial Arts of Columbus Ohio (Sifu Tre Hockett 614 871-3223), and Pilipino Eskrima Association of Staten Island.
