IMAF's "Functionally Fit" program.

We offer this program in a small personalized environment staffed by fully certified instructors- our NEW 4,200 facility has two fully matted workout rooms, one complete with strength training equipment. WE provide a wide variety of services such as personal training, sports and conditioning programs, an exciting selection of fitness classes and a fully equipped pro shop. We also have shower facilities available.

Our fitness director is Debbie Edwards, an ISSA certified fitness instructor. All our instructors are certified in their fields and are highly trained fitness professionals with years of experience. We offer a personal touch to our training that is hard to find in larger gyms. Our clients feel like family and we take a personal approach towards each one's fitness needs.

The following is a description of our Fitness classes:

Instructors - Don Edwards / Barbara Santola

Kickboxing : these HIGH energy classes are perfect for any level ... from beginner to advanced .... you work at your own pace. Classes include a combination of jump rope, kickboxing drills (some rhythmic and some with heavy bags) and abdominal  work. Gloves are required although we have club equipment that you can borrow. These are VERY popular classes that will yield great results! The difference between our classes and those of other fitness clubs is the realism of the drills - we combine boxing, and Muay Thai kickboxing techniques taught in our martial arts classes in a fun fitness class! 

 

 

 

MMA Conditioning Class-  EXCLUSIVE TO OUR CLUB! Monday Morning  (9:30AM) - This class combines conditioning and fitness elements from different martial arts fighting systems. This is perfect for those who desire the incredible conditioning, sculpting and toning benefits of a X training routine. These classes are intense, fun and offer a great workout.

 

 

 

 

Stick & Kicks - EXCLUSIVE TO OUR CLUB! Developed by our Head martial arts instructor,  "Guro" Don Edwards, as a great way to burn calories, tone up and lose weight while having fun. A high energy class combining the conditioning drills of the Filipino martial art of Eskrima with Kickboxing. Extensive dance like footwork set to a driving beat! Works both lower and upper body as well as aerobic conditioning. Great way to lose weight and condition your body for other sports! (Class varies depending on schedule - call for availability.

 

Instructor - Joe Lee

Circuit Class - Wednesday,  (8:30AM) . Want a excellent workout before the routines of the day start? Try this excellent class. Great total body workout and excellent conditioning utilizing weights, plyometrics, swiss balls and bands. Combine these classes with our aerobic kickboxing classes for a great cross training combination!!!

 Adventure Circuit - Friday (8:30AM) This class will take you through the training regiment of an adventure racer. Our instructor, Joe Lee successfully participates in these races and knows what it takes to be a winner. You will work the entire body including balance and core in a way you probably haven't before.

X-Treme Fitness - offered Tuesday & Saturday mornings. This class provides and outstanding cardio workout with strength training routines. A great variety of routines makes this a "MUST" class for those looking to melt away the pounds!

 

 

Teen /"Pre Teen" Fitkickboxing classes -Teens -  Wed 5:00PM; Pre Teen - Fri 3:00PM - Except Summer) great class focusing on a fun kickboxing routine and fitness games . A great way for kids to understand the benefits of having a workout regiment as part of their life style. They are taken through a weight training routine, jumping rope, then into kickboxing drills. A great way for children to understand the benefits of fitness and a healthy life style that will last forever.

We work with you to help you develop personalized fitness goals. We listen to your concerns and tailor a plan specific to you. We also help you with "Dietary Motivation". Except in extreme cases you do not need to spend thousands of dollars for common sense eating advice. Many of our clients have seen incredible results just by heightening their awareness concerning proper nutrition and changing eating habits - not necessarily eating less but eating right.

We do not adhere to the "yell and scream" motivational techniques used by some personal trainers. In our studio we work closely with you every step of the way, making intelligent choices that fit your needs ... we motivate you to want succeed!

We also provide sports conditioning training for the specific sport you'd like to enhance! Our trainers have trained fighters and have been fighters themselves so they know what it takes to compete.
