Brazilian Jiu Jitsu  is one of the premier close quarter/ground fighting system in the world today.  It's techniques and strategies are street effective and give the student a complete understand and feel for the fight when it's in-close and on the ground, as it often is in a confrontation! We offer both Gi and no Gi classes which afford an excellent technical workout while providing realistic techniques for defending yourself on the ground. We also offer "Mixed Martial Arts" classes which combine a number of different martial arts disciplines such as Muay Thai and submission grappling.

BJJ Gi Classes - IMAF is fortunate to have AMERICAN TOP TEAM BLACK BELT ANDRE "Gigueto" SOARES as our BJJ instructor.

In our BJJ Gi classes you will learn positions, controlling techniques and submissions with the Gi. This will give you skills in how to effectively fight at close range and especially how to control an opponent once the fight goes to the ground. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu  techniques will enable you to take control your opponent from the top, bottom or standing position and effectively end a fight.

All our classes are conducted with an emphasis on safety while providing the student an excellent set of skills and technique. Classes are perfect for novice and advanced students alike! Brazilian Jiu Jitsu provides an exceptional conditioning program as well.
